Welcome our newest contributor: Sharon Lauricella
Sharon Lauricella is Assistant Professor of Communication at University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) in Oshawa, ON. She holds a doctoral degree from Cambridge University in England, and has recently published “Voice from Rikers: Spirituality in hip hop artist Lil’ Wayne’s blog from prison” in the Journal of Religion and Popular Culture. Sharon’s research includes spirituality in rap and hip hop, spiritual education, and food communication. She lives in Canada with her family, which includes her financially-minded husband, two under-10 Nicki Minaj fans, and a rescued dog.
