We do need new leaders to develop management and collaborative skills conducive within the 21st century. It's also important for most of those leaders to be local. National leaders are good for publicity sake but the most effective leadership are those within our neighborhoods. There is a more immediate and relevant impact with leaders that are making differences close to home.
